The majority of most arts organizations’ web traffic comes from search engines. However, most have not undergone an analysis of their search engine optimization, or even spent much time thinking about this very important topic. Although search engines have become increasingly sophisticated, in many ways they still can’t see and understand a web page the same way a human does.
