As Director of Marketing and Creative Services at Carnegie Hall, Naomi Grabel oversees advertising, licensing, e-strategy, brand management, publications development and retail operations.
From 2006-08, Ms. Grabel was Director of Marketing & Development for Sydney Opera House, where she led a major re-branding project for the organization and launched its first-ever philanthropy program. Prior, she was VP of Marketing & Communications for Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center. She has served on peer review panels for the National Endowment of the Arts and the NJ State Arts Council, and was on the Executive Committees of the League of Resident Theatres and the Greater Philadelphia Theatre Alliance.
She presently chairs the board of Doug Varone and Dancers, and serves on the President’s Advisory Council of the Penn Museum and the Board of Overseers of the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts at the Univ. of Pennsylvania. She was recent co-president of the League of Professional Theatre Women. She has taught at Drexel University, and has guest-lectured at the Yale School of Drama, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, NYU, Duke University, SMU, and Texas A&M.
Ms. Grabel is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama and the University of Pennsylvania.
