Kristina Murti is the Associate Director of Marketing at Seattle Opera, one of the Pacific Northwest largest performing arts organizations. Ms. Murti is responsible for a wide range of marketing activities including direct marketing, data analysis, market research, development of new audiences, telemarketing, social media, e-commerce and website development. She oversees the BRAVO! program for young professionals which has over 600 members, of which 90% subscribe to Seattle Opera. Currently she is the project lead on a Building Audiences for Sustainability multiyear grant from the Wallace Foundation, which focuses on engaging millennials and babyboomers in the Seattle market. In 2015, she led a cross departmental team through a major website redesign and overhaul which included a new ecommerce system and CMS. In 2013 she launched several new programs to support retaining new subscribers which boosted first year retention rates by more than 10%. Ms. Murti actively leads and participates in a number of arts marketing initiatives including serving as co-chair of the Market the Arts Taskforce, member of the Community Resource Collective Steering Committee, and co-chair of the Tessitura National Conference Planning committee. She has also presented at the Digital Marketing Bootcamp, FutureTix conference, as well as national and regional Tessitura conferences. Prior to Seattle Opera, she was the Marketing Manager for Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
